Bridging the Gap for First Generation Students

The Fund for Freeman will award two scholarships for first-generation students to ensure that those accepted to college can afford critical essentials not covered by traditional financial aid packages. These scholarships cover expenses such as books, travel, technology, meals, and other potential barriers to entry. They provide a pathway for first generation students to pursue opportunities without the burden of costs beyond the scope of financial aid.
