Technology to Support Learning
The Foundation made a grant to Armstrong High School to install 20 Smart Boards— which had been sitting unused because the school lacked the funds to install them. This positively impacted learning for 750+ students and teacher. School administration connect the Smart Board installation with significant improvements in math and history scores. The grant also maximized public resources, ensuring effective use of purchased Smart Boards, avoiding waste of public funds.
