TEPF Welcomes New Board Members
The Endowment Project Foundation is thrilled to welcome three new Board members:
STEPHANIE BRENNER KIRKSEY
Stephanie Brenner Kirksey currently heads Strategic Operations for Business Cards and Payments at Capital One. She previously served as the Executive Vice President for Chamber RVA and prior to that held various roles in an international management consulting firm. Her areas of expertise include strategy, transformation, operations and talent and team development.
ALLEN SOONG
Allen Soong is a founding Partner of Paladin Management Group, a leading middle-market corporate turnaround and restructuring advisory firm. Allen has advised management teams, boards, and other stakeholders of companies in distress across a broad range of industries, guiding them through the most difficult decisions under the most challenging conditions. In his twenty-plus-year career in restructuring, Allen has served not only in advisory roles but also interim management and multiple appointments as Chief Restructuring Officer. Prior to his restructuring career, Allen worked in private equity and began his professional life with McKinsey & Company.
Born into an immigrant Chinese family and raised in the Boston area, Allen is a graduate and active alumni volunteer of Phillips Academy and Harvard University. He now lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three daughters.
EMILY WEINSTEIN
Emily Weinstein is a Richmond native and a graduate of Chesterfield County Schools. She received her B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University. She brings over 20 years of experience across both the private and nonprofit sectors and currently serves as the Vice President of Development for First Tee-Greater Richmond
Before returning to First Tee in the Fall of 2023, she spent 4 years in talent acquisition and talent operations with two management consulting firms.
From 2009 to 2018, she served First Tee-Greater Richmond in a variety of roles spanning fundraising and development, strategic planning, board organization and management, program leadership, human resources and organizational design. Emily began her career in Corporate Banking with Truist in Atlanta, Georgia for 6 years before serving in a variety of financial analyst roles.
Born and raised in Richmond and a graduate of Midlothian High School, Emily returned to the area in 2006 and currently resides in Midlothian with her husband and four children.
