Kicking Off Another Year: FC Freeman Fully Funded for 2025
The Endowment Project Foundation is excited to announce that we have secured funding for the 2025 FC Freeman Program at Douglas Freeman High School!
This innovative initiative uses soccer to engage multilingual learners, the fastest-growing demographic at Freeman High School, and supports their academic and personal success. Many of these students face challenges such as higher absenteeism, lower academic performance, and a lack of connection to traditional school activities. FC Freeman breaks down these barriers by creating an inclusive, accessible program that operates during the school day, ensuring all students can participate.
Through soccer, peer tutoring, and positive behavior incentives, FC Freeman helps students form meaningful relationships with their peers and school staff while improving their academic outcomes. In its first year, the program has already engaged over 120 students, fostering a stronger sense of belonging and connection within the school community.
The Endowment Project Foundation is proud to support this program, ensuring it continues to make a meaningful impact in 2025. Thank you to the generous donor who made this possible and for helping create opportunities for these remarkable students.
