Emily Weinstein
Emily Weinstein is a Richmond native and a graduate of Chesterfield County Schools. She received her B.A. in Public Policy Studies from Duke University. She brings over 20 years of experience across both the private and nonprofit sectors and currently serves as the Vice President of Development for First Tee-Greater Richmond where she is leading an $8 million campaign and the fundraising strategy for the organization. Emily manages a robust portfolio of major donors and is responsible for all the development efforts to support First Tee's vision, mission, and donor cultivation and stewardship.
Before returning to First Tee in the Fall of 2023, she spent 4 years in talent acquisition and talent operations with two management consulting firms. She collaborated with client leadership to develop and execute an enterprise talent growth strategy and supported account partners to best understand and define specific market needs for the talent pipeline and brand.
From 2009 to 2018, she served First Tee-Greater Richmond in a variety of roles spanning fundraising and development, strategic planning, board organization and management, program leadership, human resources and organizational design. In her years of service, she earned the status of Recognized Executive and Recognized Program Director from the First Tee national office.
Prior to her time with First Tee, Emily began her career in Corporate Banking with Truist in Atlanta, Georgia for 6 years before serving in a variety of financial analyst roles.
Born and raised in Richmond and a graduate of Midlothian High School, Emily returned to the area in 2006 and currently resides in Midlothian with her husband and four children.
